![]() "Let Windows Decide", that is where it can go wrong and chose the iGPU. Back at the Graphic Settings window and You see that the Humankind.exe is added click on it and You will now find 2 buttons/choices, "Options" and "Remove".Once You have found the game exe file just add it.It will probably be somehwere like Steam -> steamapps -> common -> then the Humankind directory and in that the Humankind.exe should be most likely. exe for Humankind (we will have to wait and see where that is located within the steam library once the game is released of course). Once there You need to add the game or app You want to assign the GPU to.Scroll down to the bottom and click on graphics setting. You just need to right click on Your desktop. However that is easily fixed in Windows 10 at least. So then Your gaming experience and FPS will suffer alot. Usually the Internal GPU is equavalent to maybe an old GT600 or 700 series GPU. The internal GPU is of course alot weaker than if You have like a dedicated GPU. That some games and apps will by default chose the internal iGPU rather than the dedicated GPU. This is also a common issue if You game on a Laptop. Yes, with some games and apps it will chose the dedicated GPU and You would never have noticed anything, but not all apps will chose the correct GPU. I would guess it's the same for AMD Ryzen. ![]() While if You have the i9-10900KF it does not have an iGPU, which means You can save a bit money if Your motherboard doesn't have a iGPU output anyway, since the KF CPU is a bit cheaper than the K CPU. Like if You have the i9-10900K it does have an iGPU as long as Your Motherboard supports it. However now after I'm thinking one obvious reason for that could be that the Motherboard and Processor / CPU has an Internal Graphic Process Unit / iGPU. I was so busy playing and my brain wasn't focused as I read that. I remember reading during the OpenDev that some people having very low FPS like 5-10 FPS and such, while others did not. I guess I might as well copy and paste that here below as well (remember I wrote this some time back and now alot of people are on windows v20H2 and not v2004 anymore): I have a thread some time back describing how to check that and change the setting if necessary. Sometimes the issue can be that Windows automatically chose the iGPU (if there is one in your pc) when set to "let windows chose/decide" (different in different language versions of course). ![]() Is everyone sure they have set the OpenDev exe file in Windows to run using the dedicated GPU and not any internal GPU / iGPU ?
